From the Diocese of St. Petersburg
The Catholic Church has a process called the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) that calls adults (and children of catechetical age) to a conversion of mind and heart and that prepares them for a full and active life in the Church as disciples of Jesus. This ritual process is spread out over a period of time – in many cases a year or more – to help the individual to become a mature and involved Catholic Christian. The RCIA takes place within the context of a parish community.

Are you or someone you know interested in the Catholic Faith? RCIA is getting ready to start and you are more than welcome to come and learn what it means to be Catholic. RCIA is the formal process one goes through to be initiated into the Roman Catholic Church. While the process takes about 8 months, the reward is so much greater! Classes begin on October 4th and they will take place in the parish center from 7pm - 8pm. If you are interested in attending, please call the parish office or email Joshua Dowling at firstname.lastname@example.org.
